Pelletier (Joseph C.) is born in Roxbury.

The son of a French-American banker and an Irish mother, Joseph Pelletier attends Boston public schools, graduates from Boston College and Boston University School of Law, and becomes a lawyer in 1896. He is elected Suffolk County District Attorney in 1906 [1909-O’Neill], but removed from office in 1922.* Pelletier dies on March 25, 1924.
